What is "My Aero" all about?
"My Aero" is your personal section on Foster Aero International and a summary of everything you can do and see on Foster Aero International.
What do I get when I register?Depending on your membership level you will be able to:
- Receive notification when a new aircraft comes up as for sale
- Receive regular news letters categorised as follows
- General News Letter
- General Aviation News Letter
- Training News Letter
- Have your own blog where you can share your aviation experience with the rest of the members
- Comment on other members blog postings
- Have a photo gallery where;
- You can upload photos
- Decide if the photos can be shown public or not
- Delete photos if you don't like them anymore
- Have a public profile where;
- You can proudly display your "Flown" or "Owned" aircraft
- You can show how good your general knowledge is (Expert League)
- Search our extensive South African National Aircraft database
- View the current "Home Base" of any aircraft Registered in South Africa
- View photos of any aircraft registered in South Africa
- List the aircraft you have flown in the past
- List the aircraft you own or part-own
- Upload a photo of your aircraft
- Maintain the contact detail of your aircraft
- Maintain the important hours of your aircraft
- Easily see when you aircraft is due for an inspection
- Advertise (for free) if your aircraft is available for "Hire and Fly"
- Participate in our "Expert League" with monthly prizes for the highest score in the specified category.
- This will also test your theoretical knowledge and certainly improve your general knowledge and recap those important points about flying that you might have forgotten
- You will have the ability to suggest questions to the "Expert League" database
Obviously we need to have some limitations in place to protect your personal information as well as making sure we do not have rouge members messing about with the system
- Initially you will be limited to a "Non-Pilot" Account until one of our admin's verified your account
- Once verified you will be given full access to all features of Foster Aero
(Sorry we are not interested in spammers)
- Only the following people will qualify for a "Full Membership" of Foster Aero International
- Student Pilots
- Qualified Pilots
- Retired Pilots
- Aircraft Owners
- Some of the features are still under development -such as our Knowledge Base- but be sure to check in often to check on progress.
How do I register?
- Complete the form on the right with as much information as possible
- Pilots please make sure you complete the pilot specific questions
- Hit the submit button
- You will receive an email from noreply@fosteraero.co.za (make sure it is white-listed in your email client) asking you to activate your account
- After activation you will receive another email with your log-in details
We do this to ensure you email address is not listed automatically by some spammer and ensure that you really want to join "Foster Aero International" as a member
